Ayala Malls The 30th on MERALCO Ave. in Pasig finally opened last January 2017. A quick stroll showed that although there are still merchants who have to finish construction, it has the basics such as Rustan's Supermarket and National Bookstore. And it displays the Ayala Malls trademark of wide open spaces.

Ayala Malls the 30th can only be directly accessed by vehicles on the northbound side. Southbound vehicles need to make a U-turn at the corner of MERALCO Ave. and St. Paul Road.

From Julia Vargas, it is advisable for pedestrians on their way to Ayala Malls The 30th to walk on the southbound side, because the northbound side is full of construction.
And, there are security concerns, too. While I was navigating the sidewalk, a grungy man suddenly heaved himself onto the railing of the small bridge I was traversing. Then he leaped onto the wall bordering the MMDA compound. Thankfully, nothing happened, but the incident definitely startled me and made me clutch my belongings more tightly.
Next time, I'm going to walk on the southbound side. It may be a bit longer, but undeniably safer.
