The main advantage of Landbank over any other bank is its locations.
Government Institutions You can expect to find a Landbank ATM or even a Landbank branch in government institutions, such as hospitals and city halls. This fact can become handy when it's time to pay cash for capital gains tax, property taxes, etc. at the Treasurer and BIR.
Provincial Locations Landbank can also be found in remote locations. As long as there's a "kapitolyo" there will most probably be a Landbank. This was made clear to me recently when a North Luzon client informed me that there is ONLY a Landbank in their agrarian town. None of the other bank institution such as BPI, BDO, Metrobank, Security Bank, etc. could be found in what was relatively a progressive town.
Land Bank ATM Account The minimum balance for a Landbank ATM account is Php 500. There's a small charge, however, for deposits to accounts outside of Metro Manila. Very reasonable for a wealth of convenience.
